Admissions to the ongoing acting course at Bombay Actors Studio are still open for late entrants. The course had commenced on 27th November 2006 and is due to end in May 2007. Interested applicants should contact Mrs Mithika Taneja at their earliest since the admissions would be closed soon.

Gulshan Grover is Chief Guest

Date: 27th September 2006

Famed Indian actor, Gulshan Grover was the Chief Guest at the Bombay Actors Studio for the farewell party of the acting course which completed successfully on 24th September, 2006, with more than 25 students obtaining their diplomas in Acting.

An ex-student of Bombay Actors Studio, Mr Grover was enthusiastic and encouraging while interacting with the to-be actors. He gave them a few pearls of wisdom and shared some of his career experiences; wishing them all the best in their endeavours.

Karan Sharma make his debut

Date: 4th September 2005

Producer Director Romesh Sharma's son Karan Sharma, who is an alumnus of Bombay Actors Studio is making his debut in Dil Jo Bhi Kahey. The movie will be featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Revathi, Bhumika Chawla and will be introducing Karan Sharma and Annabelle Wallace. It is due to release on the 23rd of September 2005.

Late admission open till mid August

Prospective students are hereby informed that late admissions for the current batch at Bombay Actors Studio are open till mid August. The course began on the 12th of July 2005. But due to many students coming from various parts of the country, the date for late admissions has been extended. Those interested should immediately contact Mrs. Mithika Taneja.

New course begins on 12th July 2005

The acting course at Bombay Actors Studio began on the 12th of July 2005. The training period will be six months and the course shall be completed by January 2006. Any alterations in the course dates will be posted on the website from time to time. Late applicants should get in touch with Mrs. Mithika Taneja immediately.

Bombay Actors Studio now affiliated to AB Corp

Mrs Jaya Bachchan on 25th June, 2005 announced in the Bombay Actors Studio that henceforth this institution will be affiliated to the AB Corp. AB Corp is a film making corporation headed by Mr Amitabh Bachchan which undertakes the co-production of films, television programmes and other ventures related to entertainment. Mrs Bachchan stated that the most talented students from every batch from the Bombay Actors Studio will be given opportunities to work in projects undertaken by AB Corp.
